broken arrow ranch horses
Our northern Rockies foothills is an ideal place to raise working Cowhorses.
Strong grass, uneven terrain, and attention to the genetics that crosses over between the ranch and arena. We are firm believers that a horse can and should be versatile enough to excel both in and out of the arena. The horses on the Broken Arrow are raised and trained for the unwavering quest for a finished working cowhorse. Genetics, health, and environment add to the mix that produce a horse that we can use on the ranch and that will lead productive lives in whatever they excel at.
Mostly raised for our own use occasionally horses are sold that we want to excel outside of our program. We also understand there are great breeders across the country and will occasionally purchase prospects for our own program.
We maintain a small broodmare band and breed via AI and Natural Service to some of the nation's top stallions in Cutting, Reined Cowhorse, and Ranch Versatility. Our Facebook Page has all the latest details on broodmares, stallions, prospects, and horses we currently have for sale.
broken arrow ranch beef
ranching with intention
At Broken Arrow Ranch, we bridge the gap between progressive land stewardship and the consistent, high-quality meat your family deserves. We weave modern methods—such as rotational grazing, virtual fencing, and electric fences—into the time-honored traditions of cowboying.
Our low-stress approach ensures:
- Heathy Ranges: We view our Black Angus cattle as tools for the land, utilizing our native range in harmony with the natural cycles of nature to ensure the environment thrives.
- Calm Livestock: We work our cattle on horseback and with herding dogs, keeping calves with their mothers and handling every animal in a respectful, low-stress manner from birth.
- Exceptional Beef: Quality begins with care. Our investment in superior genetics paired with a final 60-day grain-finish on pasture guarantees a nutrient-dense, flavorful, and consistent product on your plate every single time.
When you buy our beef, you aren’t just buying any beef; you are buying the confidence that your meat was raised right.
